The innovative solution for testing pesticides, chemicals, and other factors
At qubeto, we combine automated data acquisition with innovative experimental design and AI-driven data analysis to revolutionise today's substance screening process with the goal to create better products for a sustainable future.
highly sensitive testing platform
custom-tailored behaviour experiments
quantify every parameter & behaviour
develop sustainable products
quantify & analyse non-lethal effects
be compliant with 3R principles
get better and faster results
identify novel mode-of-actions
reduce time, labour & costs
We invested more than 10 years of research and development to establish the first imaging technology specifically designed for insects and other small animals.
patent-pending imaging technology
noise-free and contrast-rich videos
30+ quantifiable features per animal
automated locomotion analysis of multiple animals
We are deeply rooted in the scientific community and know that complex problems require innovative solutions. We offer pre-established experiments to get you started and are happy to customise any design once necessary:
We focus on D. melanogaster, but we can analyse a range of terrestrial and aquatic invertebrate model organisms.
With diverse experimental designs, from free moving to heat-gradient, we can induce a spectrum of behaviour phenotypes.

We are an interdisciplinary team of experienced biologists and computer scientists who colaborate to destill Big Data into unparalleled results using AI-driven data analysis to characterise locomotion of small animals in response to environmental stimuli, e.g. test for insecticide action.
The qubeto GmbH emerged from the QuBe project, which was funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The QuBe project was also funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the European Social Fund as part of the EXIST program.
